About Us

The Mariposas Project Philosophy

Our Early Start program provides therapeutic services to eligible infants and toddlers from birth through 3 years of age who are in need of early intervention. Our goal is to work with children and their families who have difficulties in various areas of development such as cognition (thinking skills), physical and motor abilities, vision and hearing development, communication (speech and language), early educational enhancement, social-emotional regulation and adaptive development. Annual Conference: ‘Mental Health Issues in Children Due To Attachment/Trauma’ Conference March 3rd

Our vast team of therapists and specialists possess an immense and diverse variety of skills and specialties to treat the whole child. Whether a child needs infant motor development, visual training, physical strengthening or verbal expression, our team is here to foster the development of a child’s needs in a natural environment that ensures success.

Our core philosophy is simple: provide a comprehensive, family-centered program that encourages an approach that not only specifically targets an area of need, but one that treats the whole child. Additionally, our teachings are based upon a basic principle of focusing and strengthening the child-family unit in a safe, nurturing, and loving therapeutic manner.

Little Wings

Little Wings is a nurturing preschool where typically developing children and children with special needs learn side by side in a high-quality, inclusive environment. Children are supported by experienced staff and therapists throughout their entire school day- with a student-centered curriculum that emphasizes experiential learning through exploration and play. In doing so, children develop into empathetic, resilient, and capable individuals. To learn more about scheduling a visit and our enrollment process, click on the button below.
