The Mariposas Project Philosophy
Our Early Start program provides therapeutic services to eligible infants and toddlers from birth through 3 years of age who are in need of early intervention. Our goal is to work with children and their families who have difficulties in various areas of development such as cognition (thinking skills), physical and motor abilities, vision and hearing development, communication (speech and language), early educational enhancement, social-emotional regulation and adaptive development. Our vast team of therapists and specialists possess an immense and diverse variety of skills and specialties to treat the whole child. Whether a child needs infant motor development, visual training, physical strengthening or verbal expression, our team is here to foster the development of a child’s needs in a natural environment that ensures success.
Our core philosophy is simple: provide a comprehensive, family-centered program that encourages an approach that not only specifically targets an area of need, but one that treats the whole child. Additionally, our teachings are based upon a basic principle of focusing and strengthening the child-family unit in a safe, nurturing, and loving therapeutic manner.
